This sake is brewed using "Akita Sake Komachi," an original Akita Prefecture variety that was successfully developed in 1998!
This rice, developed for making ginjo sake, is characterized by its "high fragrance, refined sweetness, delicious flavor and light aftertaste," making it the perfect rice for the W series, all of which are polished to over 50%.

Although it is a Junmai Daiginjo sake that has been luxuriously polished to 50%, considering the essence that "W" aims for, all of the products in the lineup are labeled as Junmai sake.
